About the Restaurant

Enjoy your meal and the view at On The Verandah in Highlands, North Carolina. We are an international cuisine and seafood restaurant with a focus on mixing new, exciting flavors with classic favorites.

In business since 1981, we use locally grown produce and herbs from our garden to ensure the freshest flavors. Menu items always include chicken, seafood, fresh fish, and filet mignon with our signature flavorful sauces and spices. We feature 120 seats, plenty of parking, and a beautiful view overlooking Lake Sequoyah.
